CPR unLMTD project!
The project CPR unLMTD: “Teaching and Training CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) in schools with limited resources” is an Erasmus+ project implemented from May 2025 to October 2027 in Belgium, Greece, Cyprus, New Zealand and Poland.
The aim of this project is to ensure accessible CPR training for all, by combining the benefits and strengths of self-made learning materials for CPR. It also aims at increasing the implementation rate of CPR at school in Europe.
Pupils co-create learning materials for CPR that they can relate to, regardless their identity, values and beliefs. Subsequently, they use these self-made training materials to teach CPR at home to their relatives (multiplication effect).
This way, local school projects also play a role in local health education. This initiates transversal implementation of results and facilitates implementation of CPR-training at community level, which increases impact of the project.
Objectives
CPR unLMTD aims:
To develop a framework and guidelines for CPR implementation at school
To tackle intercultural barriers for CPR education
To initiate a multiplier effect from school to local community
Target groups
Our project is designed to engage a whole community, with three main target groups at its core:
Teachers: As the project’s beating heart, teachers are directly involved in every stage. They will exchange ideas and good practices, strengthening their skills for implementation.
Pupils: This group takes the lead in co-creating accessible, do-it-yourself (DIY) training materials. This ensures the final resources are relatable and culturally appropriate for a safe learning environment.
The wider community: The project extends beyond the school walls to involve relatives, friends, and local sports and youth organizations. This ensures the project’s impact multiplies, benefiting the entire community
